Jeff Lucier’s “Madam’s Mini” will be exhibited by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Guadalajara International Book Fair from November 25 to 29,2023, at the Expo Guadalajara Convention Center, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

The Guadalajara International Book Fair, popularly known as Feria Internacíonal del Libro de Guadalajara, is the second-largest book fair in the world, second only to Germany’s Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse). It is the largest and most important cultural event of its kind in the Spanish-speaking world. This year’s edition will run from November 25 to December 3, 2023.

“Madam’s Mini” is an illustrated children’s story that follows Hubert, a curious child who befriended their new and very pleasant elderly neighbors, Madam and Sir Archie. Madam and Sir Archie moved all the way from England and brought with them their snazzy little 66 Mini Cooper S, where the driver’s side is located at the right side of the car. Madam takes Hubert for a ride around town to deliver some letters. They found themselves at a stoplight and encountered a man making fun of the car. It’s when Hubert began to learn the different lessons the Mini Cooper can offer.

The story takes its readers on a ride, racing against a man in town. It lets the young readers know the importance of self-acceptance and humility. Illustrated by Judy Allen, the book shows the scenarios so the kids can see what’s happening in the story in real time. It also presents the differences between American and British English.
