Hugh Patrick Mayes is a Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church Carson, Virginia. He was a Computer Operations Supervisor. He had a lung collapse that bled internally until he went into blood pressure shock at age nineteen. He contracted Hepatitis C from blood transfusions. He became depressed and attempted suicide. Years later, he was stabbed above the heart, collapsing his lung and coming within a fraction of entering his heart cavity. Through the CAT scan from the stabbing, they found an aortic aneurysm. His oxygen level would not stabilize until they found a hole in his heart. Six months later, his lungs began filling with liquid caused by the stabbing, and he stopped breathing during a procedure.
