Walton Weaver has been preaching the gospel full-time since 1963, working with independent, non-denominational churches of Christ in Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Texas. He has written two significant commentaries, Philippians and Colossians (1996) and First and Second Thessalonians (2013). His book “That They All May Be One: Studies on Unity, Freedom, and Authority in the Body of Christ” was published in 2003. He also edited and published a magazine on first principles titled The Apostolic Messenger for eight and one-half years. He and his wife, Margaret, have four children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
