Native New Yorker and retired trilingual (English, Spanish, Greek) educator, newspaper journalist, and radio talk show host Andrea Peponakis’ life-long passion for written and spoken communication in a variety of languages has now escalated into writing children’s books.

This best-selling author has been inspired to write the “Grandma, Grandma, Tell Me More!” book collection by the daily experiences she shares with her now 2-and-a-half-year-old grandson, Salvatore Thomas, who is the co-author. He is the inspiration for the theme of all three books, which is “Generational love is eternal.”

His actions influenced the storylines. His preference for final graphics was respected. His vocabulary was a part of the source for the text. The “Double G (Grandma and Grandson) Authors’ Team” proudly worked together on these children’s books to show how special moments become huge memories.
