About the Author
Chetro-Szivos holds a Ph.D. in communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where his studies focused on organizational and interpersonal communication. He also holds an MBA and graduate degrees in counseling. He has held the rank of professor and dean in the university setting. His work experience includes serving as the CEO of behavioral health organizations, an organizational consultant, and an advisor to the World Health Organization.

He has authored multiple journal articles, book chapters, and books. He aims to unify practical knowledge with theory, believing both are necessary to understand concepts and develop practical abilities fully. He believes knowledge relying solely on the experiential does not allow a person to see the connection to knowledge of their field.
