About the Author

Gordon Garrett has been working with dogs since his early childhood. He worked for veterinarians for ten years, worked for one of the largest German Shepherd Kennels in the U.S. (Long Worth Kennels), and bred German Shepherds for many years and run his own dog business. He has written articles for the German Shepherd Dog Club of Canada and served as its president and is a life member of the club. He has also written for other dog magazines and had published other books. He has written articles on German Shepherds and other breeds and has judged all-breeds in Canada and internationally. He is currently retired and living in Sault Ste Marie Canada.
