For Elia Hoover, there are still plenty of readers out there who love a good western. It’s why he arranged to exhibit his screenplay “A Needle In A Haystack” at the upcoming London Book Fair. As one of the first major publishing conventions of the year, it’s just the place for a work like his to attract those looking for a throwback to classic genres as well as new ideas.

Much like last year, the upcoming London Book Fair will once again focus on the latest innovations that bring together today’s world of digital content creation with publishers and authors.
While there will be plenty of new ideas being discussed, a lot of the fair’s book exhibits will feature works from classic genres and all their favorite tropes. It’s why Elia Hoover, a screenplay writer, is eager to display his latest Western “A Needle In A Haystack” at the event.
Hoover holds a bachelor’s degree in film and has attended some of America’s very prestigious film schools, such as the New York Film Academy and Full Sail University. He’s done work on over 20 film projects, and “A Needle In A Haystack” is the first western he’s formally published.
It’s a story that has it all. It’s set in the days of the western expansion, kicking off with one family’s wagon migration to a new home. But soon, things take a turn for the dark and gritty as the ruthlessness of life in the frontier takes in the form of one man’s daughter kidnapped by a seedy oil tycoon.
Now this man must ride forth through a whole wasteland of outlaws and hired guns, fueled with nothing but vengeance for the destruction this tycoon had brought upon his family.
One thing’s for sure, this screenplay ticks off all the boxes for fans of the genre. They can find “A Needle in A Haystack” by Elia Hoover on display at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet’s exhibit at stand #6A90 during the London Book Fair 2024.
