Self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet will display “Science and Beyond: Toward Greater Sanity through Science, Philosophy, Art, and Spirituality” by Rolf Sattler at the 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The literary festival will take place on April 20-21, 2024, at the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles, CA.

The annual premier book event is held every April at the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles, USA. The book festival showcases the beauty of literature, arts, and culture, bringing together the best books and activities for bookworms of all ages.

Highlights of Sattler’s book: Science and technology have become the dominant forces in the world, and as a result, they significantly impact people’s lives and society. Unfortunately, many misconceptions about science are prevalent not only among the general public and governments but also among many scientists. These misconceptions can have severe and even disastrous consequences, as was evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, where they led to unnecessary suffering, sickness, and death.

Moreover, these misconceptions obscure the limitations of science, and not recognizing these limitations can prevent humanity from reaching beyond them. It, in turn, can lead to a stunted life and an impoverished society. However, by recognizing and going beyond these limitations, as outlined in Rolf Sattler’s book, anyone can create a more fulfilled, healthier, happier, and peaceful life and society.

“Science and Beyond” gathered positive remarks from critics, with readers recommending the book for its compelling insights. The book was recognized with a share in the 2021 Scientific and Medical Network Prize.
