Vision Motorsports Racing’s Jordan Wallace Makes History As First African American To Race And Podium At Porsche Carrera Cup North America

Vision Motorsports Racing’s Professional Race-Driver Jordan Wallace continues to break barriers in the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup North America - this time securing second place and becoming the first African American to podium at last weekend’s Miami Grand Prix in the process.

With a passion for racing and a commitment to excellence, Vision Motorsports Racing entered the arena by storm, cementing itself as the newest contender on the track.

Vision Motorsports extends its congratulations to Jordan Wallace on his groundbreaking finish. His historic placing in the race is a testament to his skill, determination, and unwavering dedication to his craft.

Hailing from Annapolis, Maryland, Wallace etched his name in the annals of racing history earlier this year as the first African American driver to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America.

When reflecting on his journey and recent Grand Prix Podium, Wallace stated: “To Podium at an event like F1 Miami is truly a special way to get my first podium in Carrera Cup! I just want to thank Vision Motorsports, KellyMoss, and Davis Infrastructure so much for believing in me and giving me a great car! Much respect for my teammate and competitor, Efrin Castro, for an incredible drive and victory; it was really fun trying to chase him down; I just ran out of time. Wallace showcased his skill and determination in the highly competitive Pro-Am class alongside teammate Efrin Castro.

As Vision Motorsports continues to redefine the boundaries of excellence, Wallace and Team quickly set their sights on their next race in Montreal, as the Porsche Carrera Cup proudly returns to Canada.
