Japanese Volleyball Star Ran Takahashi Joins ASICS Team
ASICS announces the signing of Japanese professional volleyball player Ran Takahashi, representing the Japan national team, to become part of the ASICS team.
Ran Takahashi, Japanese promising volleyball star, plays the outside hitter for the Japan national team. In 2021, he represented Japan and competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, followed by a gold medal at the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship and being a bronze medalist at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League in 2023.
“I am very excited to join the ASICS team, a brand that I have been using for many years,” said Ran Takahashi. “Just as I enjoyed playing volleyball with my brother at the park when I was a child, I am looking forward to working with ASICS to realize their philosophy of ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ that sports uplift both the mind and the body. I hope to inspire the next generations to participate in volleyball and enhance the value of it together with ASICS.”
“We are delighted to welcome Ran Takahashi, who is a world-renowned volleyball player,” said Tomoko Koda, Managing Executive Officer at ASICS. “He understands the power of sports, and we cannot wait to support him and work with him to promote not only the volleyball community but also the sport as a whole to uplift people’s minds and bodies around the world.”
Ran Takahashi will be wearing the SKY ELITE™ FF MT 2 volleyball shoe.
