Author Crystal Summers Set to Exhibit Her Powerful Testimony of How Coming into a Relationship With Jesus Christ Transformed Her Life From Meaningless to Purposeful
The Printers Row Lit Fest (PRLF) carries on the spirit of Chicago’s old printing houses. Their work saw the release of countless books by authors writing on many popular topics. This year, Crystal Summers is one of several inspiring writers. Her book, “From Meaningless to Purposeful,” hopes to help any curious Printers Row Lit Fest visitor seeking on how to come into alignment with their purpose in life.

The Printers Row Lit Fest is a big, outdoor literary celebration that invites book lovers from all walks of life. Naturally, one of the reasons why is that the authors exhibiting these books are from many walks of life as well.
It’s why even an inspiring author like Crystal Summers sees her book as being right at home among the exhibits. The historical Printers Row Park was once the site of many publishing houses, including several faith-based ones that specialized in books much like the one she’s about to exhibit at the PRLF 2024.
Its is “From Meaningless to Purposeful,” and it aims to serve as a great testimony to encourage people who are tired of chasing the wind, know they were created for more, & are ready to began the process. The book also shares much about Summers’ own faith journey, going from lacking spiritual knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and revelation to a woman who is now established on the way, truth, and overflowing with abundant life. Who now sees, speaks, and lives her life supernaturally “from heaven’s realm.”
Having been raised partially on Chicago’s South Side, she knows how many people suffered hardships much like hers. From growing up in poverty, being raised by a single mother, then giving in to the pressures of sex, drugs, and alcohol at an early age to now breaking generational curses. She hopes her book can help others find the righteous path proven to break chains. The book is also part of her work as the founder and Bible teacher of Pure Hearts, a movement-based business she established in 2021.
