John A. Gehrisch is a pro at golf. The same could be said about him when it comes to helping people through their life and relationship issues – most especially relationship issues. Gehrisch, who had endured the pain of two failed marriages, also added, “…when I was devastated after the failure of my second marriage, I finally found my much-needed answers to begin my life-changing journey by analyzing what made their relationship truly different from most. I could then pursue it much further from there.”

His parents would not be the only role models in their son’s life when it comes to relationships. Playing in the professional golf circuit, Gehrisch had been blessed to enjoy the friendship and company of fellow golfers (and their spouses), whose marriages would also spur him toward the deep and intimate study of fulfilling, happy, loving, long-term relationships.

“I began to study the attributes of my parents’ relationship and their personalities,” said Gehrisch. “They had common threads between them. For almost two years, I studied other couples that I knew, and others I did not know. All couples had to meet the following criteria: MARRIED FOR 50 YEARS OR MORE, IN A FULFILLING RELATIONSHIP, HAPPY, STILL MADLY IN LOVE, AND BEST FRIENDS.
“With the same determination I employed to study and learn how not to slice a golf ball, I set out on my path to study and learn how to be sure I did not repeat past mistakes in my relationship.”

Author’s Biography:

An electrical engineer by education who parlayed a successful sales and marketing career into the professional golf circuit. But John A. Gehrisch is far from typical.

Not one to remain idle, he is a co-partner in a commercial real estate development and management company. Also, President of BBJM Golf Ventures, the exclusive golf memorabilia producer since 2003,
John has enjoyed golf since he got out of college. It was his Dad who dreamed of John becoming a tour golf professional.

After founding and running a successful wire and cable insulating company, PMC Corporation, which, prior to its sale, produced enough wire in one year to wrap around the world 13 times. It’s no wonder that financial guru Warren Buffet chose to own this company.

Gehrisch later assisted in the direction successful turnarounds of several struggling companies. He was honored to serve on the New Hampshire Governors Round Table and the U.S. Presidential Round Table.

Golf remained his passion. As soon as he turned pro in 1999, he started playing on the mini tours, finishing second several times prior to winning his first event on the Western States Tour in early 2000. He has played on and off on the Champions Tour (then the Senior Tour) and been paid to compete in international professional tournaments as far away as the Azores and Morocco.
