“The Commander In Chief’s Trophy” by Paul H. D’Anna Will Be Exhibited at the 2024 Frankfurt Book Fair

The self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet continues to celebrate the art of storytelling for all ages. This October, the company will display the book by Paul H. D’Anna, “The Commander In Chief’s Trophy: Desert Storm the Beginning of the Air Assault,” at the 2024 Frankfurt Book Fair. It will be ReadersMagnet’s second time to exhibit at the said book fair, which will occur on October 16-20, 2024, at the Messe Frankfurt, Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, 60327 Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

For the 76th time, the Frankfurt Book Fair, also known as Frankfurter Buchmesse, will open its doors to celebrate literature. It is the place to gain valuable industry insights from top-class publishing experts and gifted authors. The FIBF remains the largest book fair in the world.

“The Commander In Chief’s Trophy” is one of the most compelling books that will be displayed at the ReadersMagnet’s exhibit at the prestigious book event.

Paul H. D’Anna’s journey began in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. Despite his successful career in engineering, Paul’s passion for reading led him to a new path. His versatility in engineering was matched by his love for literature, which eventually saw him transition from an engineer to a published author.

In 1959, Paul stumbled upon an article about cadets from West Point stealing the Navy’s mascot, the NAVY goat. This incident sparked his imagination, leading him to ponder creative ways to steal the goat without getting caught. It inspired him to write the book “The Commander in Chief’s Trophy.”

In 1992, Paul started his own business, PC Consultants. During the same year, he read an article about Army cadets attempting to steal the Navy goat again. At the same time, he read an unrelated article about “the Commander in Chief’s Trophy.” He researched it and thought it would be great if the trophy could be stolen. Following Desert Storm, he was particularly intrigued by the air war, especially “Operation Normandy.”

Paul Henry D’Anna attended St. Louis Cathedral Elementary School and De La Salle High School. After graduating, he went to LSU and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He was hired by IBM in Huntsville, Alabama, and programmed the IBM 360 computers. Next, he held positions at the Shell Oil Company and Mobil Exxon. In 1992, he started his own business named “PC CONSULTANTS.” He retired in 2010 from everyday work and started growing mirliton.
