Alfred Anderson Follows Up On His Cryptid Fiction Novel with “Little Sasha”
In less than a year, the author of “Sasha: My Guardian Sasquatch” released a second book in a series revolving around the most well-known cryptid of the Pacific Northwest. Given its subject and the times Americans live in, the book not only enriches the folklore of the Pacific Northwest but also delivers a compelling, timely narrative upholding the importance of the Second Amendment.
Sheriff Sean Anderson is the symbol of resistance and, for globalists and rogue agencies, he is a big target.
Illegals are pouring into the country. Illegal drugs are out of control. Big cities are turning into cesspools. The national debt is skyrocketing. Child trafficking is rampant. The federal government is cracking down on patriots. What better way to counter these pressing issues than to form a militia? This is what the protagonist does in the cryptid fiction novel “Little Sasha: Sasha Sasquatch’s Namesake” (Bowker; 2024) by Alfred Anderson.
“Little Sasha” is Anderson’s sequel to “Sasha: My Guardian Sasquatch,” which tells the first interaction between police officer Sean Anderson and the female sasquatch whom he named Big Sasha. Sean had once saved Big Sasha, thus somewhat forming a familial bond with her. This familial bond was then strongly established when Sean was wounded in an operation against a Mexican drug cartel, and Big Sasha saved Sean from an imminent death.
In “Little Sasha,” Sean is now the sheriff of Pend Oreille County in northeast Washington, husband to Angelina who is expecting twins, and father to five-year-old Sasha, whom he named after his guardian Sasquatch. It has been five years since Sean and Angelina last saw Big Sasha, who, though remaining enigmatic, elusive, and secretive, will again appear in their lives and impact the life of little Sasha.
A political storm looms over Pend Oreille County – and the whole country. Sheriff Sean is more than determined to get rid of the drug cartels and resist corrupt, complicit, and evil leaders that facilitate the influx of illegal aliens from the south and illegal drugs from the north. He is concerned about the happenings on the southern border, learning that young military-aged foreigners have infiltrated the country, armed and equipped and waiting for orders to foment chaos and destruction. As if this is not enough, there are traitorous forces within the federal government cracking down on patriots, Christians, and loyal citizens while allowing illegals to ruin the country.
Worried about the state of his country, Sheriff Sean decides to form a militia to defend his county and community against foreign and domestic threats – especially evil forces that have captured the leadership and law enforcement agencies. Soon enough, treasonous forces within the government get wind of it and decide to threaten not just Sheriff Sean, who has already become the famous symbol of resistance, but his family, especially little Sasha.
How far will traitorous, globalists, evil bastards in government go to harm patriots and loyal citizens like Sheriff Anderson? Will he get the help he needs to form the militia? How will this concern Big Sasha? What role will the legendary cryptid play in the resistance?
