In the summer of 2010, Patricia woke up one morning screaming the book title, “Shut up! Your Words Are Killing Me!” Before she knew it, she was already writing the story. She didn’t realize then that it would become a book, but she’s happy that writing helped her find peace, forgiveness, and happiness.

“Shut Up! Your Words Are Killing Me” tells the story of Sherri Glass, who wants to be valued as a woman in a happy marriage. However, life isn’t all sunshine for Sherri. She suffered abuse and humiliation from those she loved, including her mother and her husband. Will abuse close her heart forever, or will trust in God triumph so she can learn how to fly free?

Patricia’s book is about the impact of God’s love on a human being suffering unimaginable abuse. At its heart, it is a story of love, healing, and courage. The book will resonate with those who have suffered from abusive relationships, bullying, and manipulation. It encourages readers, especially women, to stand by themselves and have the courage to live the life they deserve – one filled with love.

Author
Patricia L. Cleare wrote her story because she was going through some problems in her life with her family. She was living in great pain, distress, and abuse growing up. Patricia was abused and had been mistreated by her family and so-called friends for a long time. It started in her childhood. Patricia was a single parent raising four children when she wrote her book.

One morning in the summer of 2010, she awoke, screaming this title: “Shut Up! Your Words Are Killing Me”! Patricia was going through hard times with the death of her uncle, problems with her children, and financial difficulties. She lost my job in 2006, driving a bus because she developed sciatic nerve pain in my right leg, and she couldn’t go back to work.

There were so many things that happened in the past and present that she could write a book about. Although Patricia didn’t write about most of her life experiences, she shared some on these pages. With everything she was going through, writing her book helped her find peace, forgiveness, and happiness. As time passed, Patricia found herself alone without her children, grandchildren, and husband. But she believes that when you love yourself, all is well.
