“Shining Art on Light” tells broadly about light. This book introduces its readers to the science of light with five important concepts and without any equations. Readers then learn the many aspects of light that occur in nature, and how humans have applied light throughout history.

The book includes 58 pieces of art from eight museums, telling the story of light, with at least one piece of art illustrating each section. The author aims to educate readers on the concept of light through its depiction in the diverse art pieces.

Visitors to the Printers Row Lit Fest 2024 can find “Shining Art on Light” displayed at the ReadersMagnet exhibit. Readers are invited to drop by the exhibit to check out the book’s display.
