Chrysostomos (Makis) Gkagatsis has been elected as the new president of the Hellenic Football Federation (HFF).

Gkagatsis takes up the role with immediate effect, succeeding Panagiotis Baltakos at the helm. Aged 41, he is the youngest president in the 99-year history of the HFF.

[p"We start working right away, as there is no time to lose" he said after assuming office. "We must be more extrovert and become a federation that is looked upon with a positive frame of mind. But that can only be achieved if we work together. Our work in the next four years will show our true potential"[/p]© 1998-2024 UEFA. All rights reserved.
