"The story presents a brilliant exploration of politics, including the actions of terrorist organizations and the Mexican Mafia. Also, the theme of vengeance on the US for attacking other countries sends a powerful message about the repercussions of the unbridled use of power and war weapons." - Foluso Falaye, Tulsa Book Review.

Henry (Hank) J. Silva’s riveting novel “Badge, Bullets and Blood” follows detectives Bobby Olivares and Brent Olson, who work as partners for the Hawaiian Island Police Department. Dedicated to solving crimes, upholding the law, and saving citizens, these two find creative ways to ensure justice is served. Sometimes, higher-ups only approve those solutions once the cases are cracked wide open and the public is safe again.

Confronted with a murderer who preys on innocent young girls, the two men must use everything in their power to catch him. When they think the streets are safe again, they stumble onto a case more significant than they could ever imagine. With the Mexican Mafia and Middle Eastern terrorists threatening their lives and Hawaiian citizens, Olivares and Olson have to pull out all of the stops to right the wrongs, punish the bad guys, restore justice, and get in a few gunfights along the way.

“Badge, Bullets and Blood” captured the hearts of book readers and critics, making it a must-read page-turner. Theresa Kadair of the Seattle Book Review remarked, “I think Silva did a great job. I would recommend this book to 18+ male readers who like stories with many weapons, action, police, and military.”

Amanda Hanson of the US Review commended Silva’s plot and characterization. “The author gives each character a unique voice, which makes them easily distinguishable through their dialogue,” Hanson wrote. She added, “Readers will be captivated by the numerous plot twists and turns in the story.”

Foluso Falaye of the Tulsa Book Review praised the author’s presentation of themes and the book’s overall message. He wrote: “The story presents a brilliant exploration of politics, including the actions of terrorist organizations and the Mexican Mafia. Also, the theme of vengeance on the US for attacking other countries sends a powerful message about the repercussions of the unbridled use of power and war weapons.”

Erin Britton of the San Diego Book Review highlighted Silva’s background as a police officer. “Silva is clearly very knowledgeable when it comes to police procedures (even the off-the-books kind) and military hardware, and he packs in details about weapons and strategies that lend the novel a sense of realism even in the midst of the mind-blowing action scenes.”

Despite some points needing improvement, Silva’s book is an action-packed thriller that will appeal to fans of adventure, police, or detective stories. “Badge, Bullets and Blood” by Henry (Hank) J. Silva is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and ReadersMagnet Bookstore. Readers will also love Silva’s other books, like Badge Battles and the Betrayal, which are also available on the websites above.
