Our Testimony Senior Pastor Dickson Wasake Now Set to Exhibit Powerful Guidebook on Christian Faith-Based Living at PRLF 2024

Every year, the Printers Row Lit Fest (PRLF) fills the streets of Chicago with one of the widest outdoor selections of books in the Midwest. For years, it has offered plenty of independent and self-published authors a platform to showcase their work, share their views, and present their deepest musings.

This includes no small number of authors representing major religions like Christianity. For Dickson Wasake, the senior pastor of Our Testimony, it’s a chance to help any soul-searching Bible believer at the PRLF to find a book that answers a lot of their most pressing challenges to their faith.

The title of Wasake’s book is “Go!: 12 Lessons To Develop Mountain Moving Faith.” The title itself is something of a rallying cry aimed at Christians who find themselves besieged by countless issues in America today. These include the increasing presence of other religions in a secular, pluralistic society, the existence of hell, the controversy about the prosperity gospel, and topics such as gender equality.

Wasake’s twelve lessons in “Go!” aim to answer all these questions and help Christians stand strong and firm with a mountain-moving faith amidst the cultures of sin in modern society. It draws not only from his work as a pastor but also from his vast experience working in the highest and lowest echelons of society. He had studied at Harvard, the University of Chicago, Yale, and the University of Pennsylvania. His work as a chartered accountant in the U.K. includes 20 years working with high-net-worth clients via global companies such as Deloitte.

In “Go!” Wasake shares what his education and work experience has shown him about the world, and how an encounter with Jesus allowed him to view it with more clarity. It is his hope that those who find his work at the Midwest’s biggest outdoor book showcase will learn something about what it means to go beyond lukewarm and exhibit a faith that moves mountains.

Dickson Wasake is an ordained minister and a servant of the Lord Jesus. He is the senior pastor for www.ourtestimony.org, which is a global ministry focused on spreading the gospel of Jesus including through verified stories (www.ourtestimony.org). In addition, Dickson Wasake is a UK-trained chartered accountant (CPA equivalent) with c. 20 years’ experience from leading global professional services firms such as PwC and Deloitte where he worked with multi-billion-dollar clients. He has also undertaken several courses including from Harvard, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania. These qualifications support his expertise as a leader and business professional. Mr. Wasake has written 7 books in the religious, poetry, business and autobiography genres.

Mr. Wasake lives in Hampshire IL with his wife and their 3 children as well as 3 parakeets. The children have been cajoling him for other pets such as a dog or cat, but thus far he has only allowed them to walk a gold fish.
