Eridan Adds Key Executives to Team as it Prepares Launch of Next Generation 5G Radios

Eridan, a startup developing the world’s smallest, lightest, and most efficient 5G radio, today announced the appointment of three strategic leaders to its team. The new hires include Atiq Raza as Executive Chairman, Paul Draxler as Vice President of Technology, and Vivek Pathak as Chief Financial Officer.

These strategic appointments come at a pivotal time for Eridan as it continues to develop the company’s patented switch-mode gallium nitride technology. This innovation in the radio promises to deliver more sustainable, data-dense performance essential for 5G networks and beyond.

• Atiq Raza has been named Executive Chairman of Eridan. With over 40 years of distinguished leadership in Silicon Valley, Raza’s appointment marks a significant step in Eridan’s evolution. Having previously served as President and COO of AMD and founded several companies, his deep understanding of the technology landscape and proven track record will provide invaluable guidance as Eridan continues to push the boundaries of wireless innovation.

• Paul Draxler, PhD joins Eridan as VP of Technology. Draxler brings over 30 years of specialized experience in hardware design and R&D, most notably from his tenure at Qualcomm. His expertise spans advanced power amplifier, transmitter, and transceiver designs, underpinned by his academic achievements, including a Ph.D. from UCSD.

• Vivek Pathak has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Pathak, with over 25 years of finance experience in Fortune 500 companies and venture-backed startups, will oversee Eridan’s financial strategy and operations. Pathak’s expertise in financial management and strategic planning will drive Eridan’s growth and financial stability.
