Start ’Schiphol Airport’: a unique look behind the scenes of the airport

Schiphol is opening its doors to give a unique behind-the-scenes look at the largest airport in the Netherlands for the new RTL 5 programme ’Schiphol Airport’. Passion and dedication are at the heart of this series, with everything revolving around ensuring a safe and efficient movement of travellers. ’Schiphol Airport’ will be shown weekly at 20:30 on RTL 5 starting Tuesday 27 August. 

The reality series ’Schiphol Airport’ follows several employees who work hard every day to keep the airport operational. There’s floor manager Josée, customs officers Jan and Dilek, Viggo ground stewards Isabel and Ronald, and military policemen Nick, Bram, Dennis and Jeffrey. They all play a crucial part in the goings-on at the airport. They are filmed during hectic moments and challenging situations, showing us how they make sure everything goes smoothly. Whether it’s at peak times or when there are unforeseen circumstances, they see to it that passengers have a seamless travel experience.
