Cordell grew up in a strict Pentecostal family and church. When he was baptized and received the Holy Ghost, unfortunately, he was in a house that was a fire that took his brother’s life. Cordell was 18, and his brother was 19 years old. They were trapped upstairs, but Cordell jumped out of the window. But praise God, his brother was a child of God. Also, his parents unfortunately lost five boys in a fire before Cordell and his siblings were born. Sadly, he started hanging with the wrong crowd and was sent to prison for five years. The Lord touched and inspired him to start writing; now he knows and loves doing God’s will for him.
