The International Paralympic Committee, following the record-breaking Paris 2024 Olympics, opened the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games today and will conclude on September 8th. The IPC, sister organization of the IOC (International Olympic Committee), says these Paralympic Games will feature more than 4,000 Paralympic athletes who will compete in 549 medal events across 22 sports ranging from Blind Football to Paracycling to Wheelchair Tennis and will take place in some of Paris’ most iconic landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, the Chateau de Versailles, and the Grand Palais.
