Julia Hallmark’s “Once Upon a Mountain” to Shed Light at the 2024 Printers Row Lit Fest with ReadersMagnet

ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing company, will exhibit Julia Hallmark’s“Once Upon a Mountain” at the 2024 Printers Row Lit Fest. The book festival will take place on September 7-8, 2024, at Printers Row Park, 620 S Dearborn St (Ida B Wells & Polk), Chicago, Illinois.

Julia Hallmark’s “Once Upon a Mountain” is a faith-based fiction that follows nine-year-old Jenna as she finds herself in a world inhabited by Sasquatch, or as they call themselves Sasqui. While they are hiking, Jenna, and her dad, Brian, get pulled into an interdimensional doorway across time and space and into alien worlds. In this world, Jenna has nothing but prayers and God by her side as she learns to adapt to a new life among the volatile beings. Meanwhile, Lisa, her mother, does her best to solve the mystery of her disappearing family and to find her child and husband. Her story will be written in the upcoming sequel: “Lost Upon the Mountain.”

This story asks the question: What happens when God chooses an average family to become missionaries to alien civilizations? “Once Upon a Mountain” is also the first in this four-book series.

Julia Hallmark was raised in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Here, she had a divine encounter with the Trinity in the backyard of her family’s home. Forever changed, she went on to marry her husband Scott and now lives in Livermore, California.
