Air France on show at SPOT24 for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games
Until 8 September 2024, Air France, official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, will continue to showcase the best of its products and services in the heart of Paris.
The airline is taking over SPOT24, a new multi-purpose venue located at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, close to the sites of many Paralympic events. Celebrating the new Olympic events and urban cultures, SPOT24 is also the visitor centre for ‘Paris je t’aime’, the city of Paris’ tourist office.
In the area dedicated to Air France, visitors will be able to try out the airline’s latest Business cabin between two events or when visiting the French capital.
The company will also use this venue to present and promote its SAPHIR assistance service for customers with disabilities. For more than 20 years, the SAPHIR service has been offering Air France customers with a disability a range of services and assistance before and after their flight and throughout their journey. These services include support with booking, issuing tickets, and providing assistance in collaboration with the exceptional transportation department. From 27 July to 11 August 2024, during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Air France took over an open-access space at the Palais de Tokyo. The airline was able to introduce more than 10,500 visitors to the world of Air France and its unique travel experience.
During the Games, Air France carried 10,000 accredited customers (athletes, delegations, media) of over 150 nationalities and over 25,000 baggage items, including 3,000 oversized items. More than 1 in 3 people with Olympic accreditation arriving in Paris by air travelled on Air France, making the airline the leading carrier of accredited customers.
