Author Bio

Anthony R. Balista, 81, is a retired US Army Vietnam veteran who has served six overseas deployments, two each to Korea, Vietnam, and Germany. He is also a retired systems engineer with a background in Communications-electrics, information technology, and program and engineering management, having managed sizeable multimillion-dollar defense industry programs.

Balista’s expertise extends beyond his military and engineering roles. He is a prolific technical writer, having authored thousands of pages of technical manuals, test procedures, specifications, and electronic communication standards. His work has significantly contributed to the US Navy Trident Submarine, Center for Engineering and Systems Integration, The United States Army, Delphi Packard, ITT Corporation, RCA Corporation, and others.

He has four children and nine grandchildren and resides in Warren, Ohio.
