Bonita Mitchell Set for Book Signing with Her Fabulous and Powerful Faith Testimony at Printers Row Lit Fest 2024

The Printers Row Lit Fest celebrates Chicago’s own literary legacy with seminars, guest panels, and exhibits of books by many bestselling authors. However, they are just a small fraction of the many more independent authors who have signed up to exhibit their work and tell their own stories as well.

And for Christian authors like Bonita Mitchell, it’s an ideal venue to showcase their faith testimonies. Hence, it’s why she has personally scheduled a book signing session during the 2024 Printers Row Lit Fest.

The title of her work is “The First Lady: The Process to My Purpose Believe, Don’t Give Up!,” in which she shares the challenges she had personally experienced as well as how she had managed to endure it all purely by surrendering herself to God.

Mitchell is also an experienced singer and songwriter who has had the privilege of working with some of the biggest names in the business. But before that, she was but a shy, insecure little girl who grew up in a highly religious environment.

One day though, she found her two biggest challenges in life. The first was the divorce of her own parents, and then a repeat of the same cycle in her own marriage. The latter then prompted her to move far away to California, where her musical talent landed her jobs working right alongside iconic celebrities such as Stevie Wonder, Bob Hope, Whitney Houston, and more.

Despite all that, though, her faith remained strong and she saw for herself the darker, dirtier, and more devilish elements lurking beneath the glitz of the entertainment industry. “The First Lady” describes the means by which any other believer in similar situations can really hold fast to their faith, continue to trust in God, and emerge stronger for it.

Those visiting this year’s Printers Row Lit Fest can line up for her book signing at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet’s stand (space C and D). The signing is scheduled for the first day of the Printers Row Lit Fest on September 8, 2024, from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Meanwhile, the event itself will still be at the historic Printers Row Park until September 8.
