The Book “I Have No Time for Cancer!” by Kathy Moore Will Be Published in 2024

“I Have No Time for Cancer!” describes the year-plus adventure of the most interesting and humorous happenings in the life of Kathy Moore, a single working mom battling breast cancer.

Kathy’s objective in writing the book was to connect with other cancer patients and their families, aiming to bring them some entertainment, humor, and solace through the telling of her own (temporary) bad luck during the process.

She hopes the book will bring smiles and chuckles to those currently fighting cancer. For Kathy, laughter was an essential tool she both wanted and needed while undergoing her treatments. Boredom and discomfort often go hand in hand, as many who have experienced cancer treatments know all too well.

Kathy encourages others to make the best of their circumstances, recognizing that everyone’s situation is unique. In her case, she was a single mother with her closest family members living several states away. Despite this, she was blessed with a supportive church community that prayed for her and offered practical help when needed.

Her advice is simple: don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Eat healthy, hydrate well, and—most importantly—find reasons to laugh.
