Chantilly Arts & Élégance Richard Mille 2024
The tenth anniversary of Chantilly Arts & Élégance Richard Mille is due to take place from September 12-15, 2024, with a total of more than 800 models on display. Organized in the magnificent setting of the château’s jardin à la française, designed by the renowned architect and landscaper André Le Nôtre in the 17th century, the Chantilly Concours d’Élégance is an event not to be missed in the field of automotive elegance worldwide. The event provides designers and manufacturers with a unique opportunity to exhibit vintage cars, prototypes and production cars.
The event is divided into three competitions: the Concours d’État, to elect the “most beautiful car in the world” and focusing on collector cars restored or preserved in their original state; the Concours d’Élégance, the parade reserved for concept cars that must epitomize their association with the fashion world; the Grand Prix des Clubs, attended by members of the more than 40 clubs associated with the event.
Lancia brand features at Chantilly Arts & Élégance Richard Mille 2024
Lancia is taking part in the event by putting on display three cars: New Lancia Ypsilon, Lancia Pu+Ra HPE, and Lancia Stratos.
The New Lancia Ypsilon is back in France for the first time since its official presentation to the market in July, with four units – two with 100% electric motors and two with hybrid engines – available for the first test drives in the country.
Lancia Pu+Ra HPE, the concept car that has brought the brand in the brand into the era of electrification, is one of the models entered in the Chantilly Concours d’Élégance: with its streamlined, efficient and aerodynamic body, the car defines the brand’s vision for the next 10 years, in terms of range, charging time and efficiency, for market-leading performance.
Finally, one of the brand’s historic icons will be there: the Lancia Stratos: a “brutal and efficient” racing car created to win and to break the mold, a contributing factor to making Lancia the most successful brand in rallying history. The iconic round taillights – a source of inspiration for the New Lancia Ypsilon’s – together with the aerodynamic wing and the eclectic combination of primary colors in the interior made the Lancia Stratos a futuristic design model that remains contemporary to this day.
