Four Seasons DC Wine & Dine will continue the long-standing support of Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC for cancer research, furthering the mission of The Race to Beat Cancer, which the Hotel originally launched 42 years ago. Four Seasons DC Wine & Dine will play a crucial role in supporting clinical trials for innovative cancer therapies and enhancing innovative patient care from MedStar Health’s Georgetown Cancer Institute’s expert providers at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Proceeds from this event will help support MedStar Health clinician researchers in their work to discover breakthroughs in cancer care and provide patients access to the latest in diagnostic imaging, surgery and radiation services including stem cell transplants. Funds raised will also go towards fostering collaborations with the Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated centre in DC, and supporting patients through essential survivorship services including transportation, lodging, nutritional guidance, financial assistance, social services and more. “We are honoured to be a part of the Four Seasons DC Wine & Dine event and would like to express our gratitude for the support of our mission to advance health through transformational cancer research, " says Neil J. Weissman, MD, President, Medstar Health Research Institute and Chief Scientific Officer, MedStar Health.

“Our partnership with the Four Seasons DC Wine & Dine event is personal for me. The funds raised will not only support the work of our expert researchers who are dedicated to creating new knowledge but it will also help support our work to provide the best comprehensive cancer care for our community, adds Kenneth A.
