Snapchat’s Phantom House Returns

WEBWIRE

To celebrate Halloween 2024, Snapchat’s spooky content series Phantom House is returning for Season 2 with four new horror-themed episodes. These short films will immerse Snapchatters in a spine-chilling experience that blurs the line between reality and the supernatural.

Filmed to reflect the way our community captures their own content, each twisted tale will unfold through Snap Story compilations starring four standout Snapchat creators — Tue Nguyen, Jake Koehler, Rachel Levin, and Caryn Marjorie — each bringing their unique flair to their own episode.

In collaboration with Atomic Digital Design, we’re launching four AR Lenses that accompany each Phantom House episode and allow Snapchatters to step inside the four different eerie worlds. Whether you’re getting goosebumps from a zombie-infested freezer or transforming into a demon dog, these AR Lenses bring the horror to life in ways that are both shareable and deeply engaging.

As US Snapchatters are at least two times more likely to anticipate spending more on Halloween than last year1, we’re also working with brands like Maybelline New York, a returning sponsor for Phantom House, State Farm®, and Hulu to get in on all the spooky action:

  • Maybelline is launching branded content that will be integrated into a Phantom House episode, as well as custom creator content, an immersive AR Lens, Commercials, and Snap Ads.

  • Leading up to Halloween, State Farm will launch an immersive AR Lens, Commercials, and Snap Ads.

  • In alignment with its annual Huluween campaign, Hulu is highlighting its library of Halloween-themed content as well as its new Hulu Originals film, Carved, through an AR Lens, Commercials, and Snap Video Ads.

Episode 1 of Phantom House is live now for all Snapchatters on Phantom House’s Public Profile, with subsequent episodes dropping every Tuesday. Enter the Phantom House today… if you dare.
