eDreams Prime Day sets new record for new subscribers while boosting repeat bookings among existing members

Unmatched consumer value drive subscriber growth and engagement

Driven by unbeatable travel deals, this Prime Day edition saw a +21% increase in new subscribers compared to the previous week, marking an all-time high and underscoring the platform’s ability to attract fresh audiences with its compelling, value-driven proposition. In addition to the influx of new members, the campaign continued to deliver significant value to existing subscribers, with repeat bookings rising by +29% among current members, further underscoring the strong engagement and loyalty of the eDreams Prime community. These results showcase the platform’s ability to consistently engage Prime members by offering exclusive, personalized travel deals on flights, accommodations, dynamic packages, and car rentals. Powered by AI technology, these tailored offers not only meet specific travel needs but also significantly enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Some examples of the most significant savings enabled by the latest Prime Day included a couple from the United Kingdom who saved €580 on a hotel booking in the Maldives, a family from Italy who saved €669 on their flight to USA or a family from Germany who saved €625 on their dynamic package of flights+hotel to Portugal. 

Record airline and hotel participation

Running from September 30th to October 4th, this six-day extended event featured the largest travel offering in Prime Day history, with unprecedented participation from travel partners. Notably, a total of 45 airlines provided additional exclusive fares beyond the regular Prime member deals, which are available across eDreams ODIGEO’s network of 700 airlines. These efforts delivered clear results for airline partners, with those offering dedicated deals seeing 94% higher growth in their bookings than non-participating airlines. This collaboration not only brought substantial savings to Prime members but also highlighted the growing appeal of eDreams Prime as a preferred platform for travel providers to connect with a highly engaged subscriber base of travel shoppers.

Similarly, over half a million hotel properties worldwide participated in the campaign, offering additional member-only deals which added to the regular Prime member fares. These special efforts from hotel partners contributed to a record-breaking week for accommodation bookings, marking the highest-ever number of hotel reservations in a single week for the company. Prime members also benefited from exclusive discounts on a wide range of travel products, including packages, accommodation, and car rentals, reinforcing eDreams Prime as the go-to one-stop shop for travel solutions.
