Currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, Smith’s upbringing in St. Louis was marked by poverty and exposure to challenges like alcoholism, gun violence, and unemployment. Despite these circumstances, she consciously decided to break free from the patterns of her environment. At age ten, Smith moved with her family to her grandmother’s house, a more stable and nurturing community. Deep in her heart, she had always desired to live there. Shortly after the move, she met her best friend, Trestaca Warren, at a family member’s church. During an altar call, Smith chose to commit her life to God, marking the beginning of her spiritual journey.

Throughout her life, Smith has faced numerous life-threatening experiences, from nearly being kidnapped to battling cancer and surviving four major car accidents. Yet, she believes God has been with her through it all, guiding and protecting her. Today, Kellie dedicates her life to helping others overcome challenges and finding joy in promoting healthy living, strong marriages, and family values.
