Georg Petschnigg Joins DevRev as Design-Focused Board Member

DevRev, an AI-native platform that unifies customer support and product development, today announced the appointment of Georg Petschnigg as its first independent board member. Petschnigg’s extensive design leadership experience reinforces DevRev’s strategic focus on design-driven enterprise software. Formerly the Senior Vice President and Head of Product Design at The New York Times, Georg joins DevRev to further its mission of building the most customer-centric enterprise software by integrating a design-forward approach to AI. DevRev was co-founded by Dheeraj Pandey, the former CEO and co-founder of Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX) and a board member at Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE).

During his time at The Times, Georg led the design of essential products for tens of millions of users. His work spanned their entire product portfolio – from the visual and timely presentation of the News, to an Apple Design Award-winning Games app, a modern publishing platform, and the launch of the new New York Times app.

Previously, Petschnigg was the Chief Innovation Officer and General Manager at WeTransfer transforming it into a multi-product suite serving the workflow needs of millions of creatives worldwide. He also co-founded FiftyThree, where he served as CEO, earning international acclaim for design excellence in mobile creation and team collaboration. Earlier in his career at Microsoft, Petschnigg was instrumental in pioneering mobile devices and contributed to the first online version of Office.
