Pirelli Confirmed as the Principal Supplier for the FIA Motorsport Games

The biennial FIA Motorsport Games are preparing to celebrate their third edition on the streets of Valencia and on track at Circuito Ricardo Tormo, with a record number of categories and participants lined up.

This multidisciplinary event, run by the SRO Motorsports Group in collaboration with the FIA, sees drivers competing under their national flags like at the Olympics. The action will feature drivers from the key varieties of four-wheeled motorsport, with a total of 26 different categories, up from 16 at the last event.

Pirelli will be there to support the drivers who have signed up for the most popular and eagerly awaited races, confirming its position as the most in-demand tyre manufacturer in motorsport. To be specific P Lunga will be the exclusive supplier of tyres for the categories relating to GT, Touring Cars, F4 and modern rally. This will involve a level of logistical and technical organisation and a range of resources and personnel that will be among the most demanding of the entire season for the Italian company, which is represented in 350 championships all over the world.

THE DISCIPLINES

Since its inaugural edition at Vallelunga in 2019, the FIA Motorsport Games has expanded, going from six disciplines to 16 in 2022 (won by Italy) and now the 26 that will entertain the crowds over this long weekend in Spain.

Key parts of the programme include the competitions dedicated to Gran Turismo, Touring Cars, F4, Rally2, Rally4 and Historic Rally.

The assorted races on the programme promise to be as demanding as the single series and it will be interesting to see some of our finest products all in action together.”

THE PRODUCTS

GT.  At the Motorsport Games the P Zero DHF will supply all the GT cars for which it was originally developed, going on to become the reference point for all the major national and international competitions including the GT World Challenge, DTM and Macau Grand Prix. In case of rain the Cinturato WHA will be available.

Touring cars. The drivers will be using the P Zero DHHB, which was tailor-made for cars in this category.

Racing. The cars will be supplied with the P Zero DMA, which was developed specifically for F4 cars.

Rally. The P Zero for asphalt and the Scorpion for gravel roads will be available for the Rally2 and Rally4 cars in both the hard and soft compounds. To take on wet tarmac, both categories will also be supplied with the Cinturato.
