He has been a prominent leader in the diaconate, serving as the director of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate from 2003 to 2015. Deacon Neral and his wife, Barbara, recently deceased, raised three sons and are proud of their four grandchildren. His life’s mission has been to inspire others to place their trust in God’s love through his ministry and now through his writings.
