• Developed with Rally Legend Miki Biasion: Two-time World Rally Champion Miki Biasion played an instrumental role in developing the Ypsilon Rally4 HF, which heralds the upcoming launch of the Ypsilon HF. This 280 HP high-performance road version will embody Lancia’s sporty legacy, bringing the brand’s competitive spirit to public roads.
• Lancia and Sparco renew their collaboration, with Sparco providing both the technical and safety equipment for the vehicles, as well as the professional gear for drivers, including suits, undersuits, gloves, and shoes, all designed to meet the highest standards of safety and comfort.
• Trofeo Lancia 2025: The Ypsilon Rally4 HF will debut in the 2025 Italian Rally Championship with the first-ever Trofeo Lancia, offering drivers a unique opportunity to compete and grow in the rally world, with a total prize pool valued at approximately €300,000 and the chance to participate in the 2026 European Rally Championship with Team Lancia Corse HF.
• The New Ypsilon is the first car of the new Lancia era, available in both hybrid and 100% electric versions, positioned at the top of the premium B-segment for versatility and technological innovation.

Originally formed during the golden era of rally racing, the partnership between Lancia and Sparco is now renewed through the 2025 Rally program, featuring the new Ypsilon Rally4 HF, specifically designed for competitive racing.

Technical Details of the Ypsilon Rally4 HF
The Ypsilon Rally4 HF is the next evolution in Lancia’s rally car legacy, combining advanced technology with high performance. Built on a CMP MHEV platform, it offers both lightweight agility and structural rigidity. The car features a welded tubular safety cage for a high-performance, secure chassis in line with the highest FIA standards.

At its core, the Ypsilon Rally4 HF boasts a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, delivering 212 HP, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission provided by SADEV and a mechanical limited-slip differential to optimize power and traction. McPherson suspension with Ohlins 3-way adjustable shock absorbers allows drivers to fine-tune the car’s setup for varying terrain, while its asphalt configuration includes ventilated 330 mm disc brakes, essential for tackling Italy’s challenging rally courses with their continuous ascents and descents.

Sparco and the Technical Equipment
Sparco will equip both the driver and co-driver with a complete racewear kit—including suits, under-suits, gloves and shoes—developed to meet the highest standards of safety, comfort, and performance through continuous research and innovation. Sparco will also supply all essential safety and technical components, including seat belts, steering wheels, pedals, and the advanced Matrix 8855-2021 racing seats.

These next-generation Matrix seats, constructed from fiberglass and aligned with the latest 8855-2021 technical regulations, are lightweight yet highly durable, positioning them at the forefront of their category in terms of weight and safety performance.

TROFEO LANCIA RALLY 2025
Lancia’s official return to the rally scene is set for the Italian Rally Championship in 2025, with the debut of the first Trofeo Lancia. This new competition will consist of six races starting in April 2025 within the Italian Rally Championship. Drivers will have the opportunity to showcase their talent with the support of a comprehensive package that includes technical apparel, hospitality, technical assistance, in-race parts supply, as well as dedicated visibility and communication around the Trofeo.

A substantial total prize pool valued at approximately €300,000 will be available, encompassing race prizes, end-of-season awards for category winners, and the grand prize for the overall Trofeo champion. The ultimate winner will have the chance to compete in the 2026 European Rally Championship, driving the Ypsilon Rally4 HF as part of the Team Lancia Corse HF, providing invaluable experience in the professional rally racing world.
