Rocky Schrecengost’s children’s book “Mud Pups’ Adventures Vol. 1” will be exhibited by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2024 Guadalajara International Book Fair. Author’s Biography:

Throughout his school years, the only class in which Rocky consistently earned straight A’s was Art. He worked in the Texas oil fields for 37 years, starting at the age of 17. In his spare time, he took on remodeling projects and painted signs for friends who owned local businesses. Rocky enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid NASCAR fan, with favorite drivers including Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, and Kevin Harvick. He had a passion for listening to ’70s music and loved watching children and pets play together.

The idea of “mud pups” came to him while riding four-wheelers and watching dogs either ride along with their owners or chase after them. This sparked his imagination, leading him to wonder how he could combine two beloved children’s favorites—pets and four-wheelers. This inspiration led him to start writing and drawing.
