Blues goalkeeper withdraws from international duty
Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has withdrawn from international duty with Denmark Under-21s.
Jorgensen was part of the Denmark side which qualified for next summer’s Under-21 Euros during the October camp and was selected once more last week.
The Danes are set to face Germany U21s on Thursday and then Spain U21s on Tuesday but it was confirmed today that Jorgensen has now withdrawn from the squad.
The Chelsea goalkeeper has been replaced by Nordsjaelland’s William Lykke and is one of several players forced to drop out of this camp.
A number of Blues have also been forced to withdraw so far in this international window, with Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer pulling out of their respective squads.
