Author’s Biography:

Deborah received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University with a major in Surface Pattern Design. She designs repeating patterns, mainly by hand, for the home furnishings industry and the paper product market. Her patterns can be found on products such as tablecloths, bedding, gift wraps, cell phone cases, and more, and they are available through several online POD shops. She is the mother of two young girls, and has passed her compassion for animals down to them.

When this sweet, unique cat came into her family’s life, she was inspired to share the story of her rescue and the lessons that it taught, with other children. Returning to her roots in fine arts, she joyfully illustrated the books as well.
