New Balance Reveals Next Generation Furon V8, Crafted for Speed
New Balance has revealed the next generation of its signature football boot, the Furon v8, wear tested by Team New Balance Athlete Bukayo Saka. The first edition Furon v8 will be available to buy in limited quantities from 14th January online at https://www.newbalance.com/soccer/.
The Furon v8 is crafted for speed to support players with explosive movements and the sharpest of touches. After wear testing prototypes of the first edition Furon v8, Bukayo provided instrumental ongoing feedback at different stages of development. A new Speed Ctrl Stud adds an extra stud to the responsive outsole plate from previous models, designed to support control during sudden stops and sharp pivots, moves used to devasting effect by the fastest players on the pitch. The v8 features a low-profile collar and a redeveloped heel, with an ultra-lightweight Hypoknit upper, for superior comfort, a secure feeling and an even greater sense of speed.
The first edition Furon v8 comes with a vibrant highlight base, instantly recognizable on the pitch with a contrast energy red, designed to highlight the new features and tech of the new v8 model like the Speed Ctrl Stud and the re-engineered Hypoknit collar & upper.
