Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo & astronomical domes: special invitation to all women!
Promotional fee on 7, 8 and 9 March
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Castel Gandolfo Museum Complex and the Vatican Observatory welcome all the female public with special entry at the promotional fee of 8 Euros.
The offer is addressed to all women, and is valid for the entire weekend on Friday 7 (09.00 a.m. -02.30 p.m., last admission at 01.00 p.m.), Saturday 8 (09.00 a.m. - 05.30 p.m., last admission at 04.00 p.m), and Sunday 9 March 2025 (10.00 a.m. - 06.30 p.m., last admission at 05.00 p.m.).
The women visitors, as well as their companions, will be able to walk through and admire (independently, or with a guide and/or audioguide) the solemn rooms of the Papal Palace with its historical collections, or the Pontifical Apartment, as well as visiting along the itinerary the two exhibitions currently underway: “Castel Gandolfo 1944” and “The Stoning of St. Stephen. A tapestry by Raphael for the Sistine Chapel”.
This year the promotion doubles, and will also be applied to the purchase of the visit (5 Euros) to the majestic astronomical domes of the Vatican Observatory on the Castel Gandolfo Papal Palace, home to ancient instruments and historical telescopes still in perfect working order.
At the end of the tour, visitors will be able to continue their tour in the open air, in the Garden of the Moor and the Secret Garden, before finally being enchanted by the wonderful view of Lake Albano offered by the panoramic terrace of the new cafeteria-bistro.

N.B.: The promotion is only available on the spot, upon presentation at the ticket office of the Castel Gandolfo Museum Complex (Piazza della Libertà, Castel Gandolfo, Rome).
