Dorothy R. Dann’s Innovative Guide for Healing Rifts in Divided Churches Slated to Exhibit at 2025 London Book Fair

The 2025 London Book Fair is expected to have dozens of exhibit stalls with books that tackle just about any subject, thanks to the many independent authors who want to share their insights and expertise with a wider readership. Among them is retired United Methodist pastor Dorothy Dann, who published the book “Intervention in Church Conflict.” It shares Dann’s experience of addressing divisiveness in a church using innovative best practices and theories in organizational leadership.

“While rooted in church conflict, Dann’s strategies resonate with leaders across various fields—from education to the workplace—anywhere people and differing opinions coexist.”

At the London Book Fair, both the largest publishers and countless independent authors will be exhibiting hundreds of books. Plenty of them will be about sharing experiences and information meant to address the most pressing problems in today’s world.

And for Dorothy Dann, that problem is the divisiveness that is afflicting many churches and organizations in America. This is the main challenge that she tackles in her book “Intervention in Church Conflict: A Narrative-Systems Approach.” It shares her successful application of the narrative-systems approach with up-to-date counseling/leadership methods for pastors, CEOs and other leaders to address the rifts that have been breaking apart churches and other communities.

More specifically, “Intervention in Church Conflict” shares a pivotal moment early in Dann’s career as a pastor in the United Methodist church newly appointed to a divided congregation on the East Coast. The task also happened to be within the same period as a project that was necessary for her counseling degree.

What initially appeared to be two challenges running headlong into each other turned out to be a timely opportunity for Dann to integrate her budding counseling expertise with her experience as former teacher, entrepreneur, and event planner for clergy and church leaders She hopes that those checking out her book at the London Book Fair 2025 will consider using it as a transformative guide for navigating the complex dynamics of conflict within congregations and other organizations.

Visitors to the 2025 London Book Fair will find “Intervention in Church Conflict: A Narrative-Systems Approach” on display at the exhibit of ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing company, at stand no. 6A90. The fair will be at Olympia London, London, UK, from March 11 to 13, 2025. Order a copy of Dorothy R. Dann’s book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
