Bob Henry was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1933. He attended Brooklyn College and graduated in 1955. He married Selena Trieff in 1955 and studied at the Hans Hofmann School of Art from 1952 to 1955. Bob served as a professor at Brooklyn College, CUNY, from 1960 to 1990. He also taught at the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill, the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, where he taught from 1990 to 2020.
