Dr. Rajendra Mannava’s Extensive and Organized Guide to Common Med Board Test Cases Set for Exhibit at L.A. Times Festival of Books
Plenty of independent authors are expected to exhibit their work at the 2025 L.A. Times Festival of Books. But while many will elaborate deeply on their chosen topic, there are still others who just want to help with simpler, straightforward answers. Interestingly enough, this includes board-certified physician Rajendra Mannava, who published a guide titled “Internal Medicine Boards.” The book is a guide to common test cases in board exams and is meant to assist today’s med students.
“A helpful guide for any med student tackling one of the toughest board exams in America.”
Celebrity guest authors and panels will abound in the upcoming Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2025, but it is also a big draw for the country’s hundreds of independent and self-published authors. Hence, an even bigger majority of the books exhibited will be a number of works that share complex stories, rich histories, and deep-dives into chosen topics.
On the other hand, there are also those who think that the best way to help students in a highly technical field is to give simpler guides to them.
That’s certainly the approach of board-certified physician Rajendra Mannava and his book “Internal Medicine Boards: Useful Tips.”
Based in New York, Dr. Mannava currently works at Montefiore St. Luke Cornwall Hospital. He is highly aware that board exams remain one of the most daunting hurdles for med school students. To help with this, he wrote a book that listed many of the most common cases used in tests by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The contents are categorized according to various fields such as Neurology, Nephrology, Reproductive Health, and more.
By familiarizing themselves with these case diseases, he hopes that students will have better chances of passing their exams and be on their way to using their hard-earned knowledge and skills to ease America’s ever-burdened healthcare system.
Visitors to the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2025 will find Dr. Rajendra Mannava’s “Internal Medicine Boards: Useful Tips” at the exhibit of ReadersMagnet, a book marketing and self-publishing company, at booth # no. 225. The festival will be taking place at the University of Southern California on April 26-27, 2025. Those who’d like to order a copy can go to either Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
