During the World Championships, Opel is putting its trio of SUV newcomers – the new Grandland, Frontera and Mokka – firmly in the spotlight. All three models offer a perfect blend of innovative technologies, stylish design and efficient, electrified drive variants. In the Festival Village, visitors can discover the new Opel Frontera and learn more about the family-friendly SUV. For all gaming fans, the Opel Gaming Van is also available. In addition, the competition courses are branded with the distinctive Opel logo, and in the disciplines big air, slopestyle and ski cross, the leading athlete will take a seat on the leader chair or hot seat. The World Championships represent a special highlight for Swiss Opel brand ambassador Nicolas Huber – the freestyle athlete will compete in front of a home crowd.
Tobias Dilsch, Managing Director of Opel Switzerland, said: "As the official vehicle partner of the FIS Freestyle World Championships 2025, we are proud to contribute to this unique event. Our vehicles accompany athletes, volunteers and the local community through this exciting event and support people’s active lifestyles"

‘Energize Your Life’: With the new Opel Grandland, Frontera and Mokka
Opel stands for an active, sporty lifestyle – with models that are functional and stylish at the same time. With the slogan ‘Energize Your Life’, the brand specifically addresses the needs of customers in Switzerland who are looking for a perfect combination of everyday mobility and experience. Opel offers the ideal solution: vehicles that impress with advanced technologies and high efficiency as well as dynamic design. This is demonstrated by the innovative Opel SUV trio consisting of the new Grandland, the new Frontera and the new Mokka.
The new Opel Grandland is stylish and dynamic, spacious and flexible as well as electrified in every variant. At the front, the new 3D Vizor with illuminated central Opel Blitz immediately catches the eye; at the rear, the Grandland now bears the illuminated OPEL wordmark. In addition, it comes with top technologies such as the glare-free Intelli-Lux HD light with more than 50,000 elements. With a length of 4.65 metres, a width of 1.93 metres and a height of 1.66 metres the ’Golden Steering Wheel 2024’ winner1 offers plenty of space for passengers and luggage. The rear bench seat can be divided in a 40:20:40 ratio and enables a load volume of 550 to 1,645 litres.
Flexible, clear and modern in design as well as with many practical solutions, the new Opel Frontera – also fully electrified – is a particularly affordable and family-friendly SUV. Travel suitability is a top priority for the new Frontera: At the front, the driver and front passenger can sit on the new patented Intelli-Seats with central recess. The boot can carry 460 litres of luggage; with the seats folded down, this extends to around 1,600 litres. In addition, the Frontera offers many intelligent features, including a smartphone station. With its robust interpretation of Opel’s design philosophy, the new Frontera definitely stands out from the crowd.
The new Mokka completes the new Opel SUV trio and thus the youngest SUV portfolio on the market. The brand shaper, which has impressed with its bold and pure design from the start, is gently sharpened from the outside and now features the new Opel Blitz and other visual accents. The biggest change can be found in the interior. Here, the cockpit now appears even clearer and picks up on the Opel Vizor graphic of the front of the vehicle. In addition, drivers and passengers can enjoy the latest infotainment generation.
