TV series Schiphol Airport returning for a second season

After the first season’s success, RTL-5 programme Schiphol Airport is returning to your screens with a brand-new season. Thanks to large audiences and considerable interest, the largest airport in the Netherlands is opening its doors once again to give viewers a unique look behind the scenes. 

Season 2 can be seen weekly from Tuesday 20 May at 20:30 on RTL 5 and on Videoland. The series follows the dedicated staff who work hard every day to ensure the smooth and safe flow of travellers.  

In this season too, the focus is on the people who keep Schiphol running. From floor manager Josée, security officers Anita, Rachel and Floor, and customs officials Richard and Dilek, to Viggo ground stewards Isabel and Ronald, and Marechaussee officers Nick, Hans, Dennis, Erik, Nikita and Jeffrey – all vital links in a complex airport process. Viewers will also get to know some new faces, including floor manager Daan and pensioners Rob and Peter from the Schiphol Welcome Team. 

Expect hectic moments, challenging situations and plot twists all while the team do their very best to ensure that travellers have a carefree travel experience.
