Dona Seely’s Heartwarming Christian Story About Two Lambs Following Jesus was scheduled for 2025 London Book Fair

The London Book Fair (LBF) was one of the first major publishing conventions of the year, inviting many authors, distributors, content creators, and others to discuss business trends in 21st-century literature.

It also attracted a great number of religious authors who were riding the resurgence in quality faith-based entertainment.

Dona Seely was one of these many budding writers, whose book aimed to help children better understand the symbolism of the lamb and shepherd are often features of Christian theology.

Its title is “Follow Your Shepherd and You Will Never Be Alone.” It starts at time, “0,” when Jesus and the lambs were born. It explains the many lamb/Lamb - shepherd/Shepherd relationship.

Their lives are told in tandem with many events in the Gospels, starting with their own birth near Bethlehem. Kids can follow their journey as they are brought to the manger where Jesus was born, after which they would grow up before meeting Him again as He returns with His twelve disciples.

The book’s main focus is to help Christian children understand the meaning of terms like the Lamb of God and the Good Shepherd, which can sometimes be confusing for them. And by exhibiting her work at the London Book Fair, Dona Seely hopes to assist many families around the world by giving them a handy and entertaining children’s story for teaching.

Dona Seely is a Christian who was spiritually inspired to write this book to help clarify the lamb/Lamb and shepherd/Shepherd relationships. The Biblical phrases “Lamb of God” and “Our Shepherd” are illustrated in this sweet, informative, loving story.

Dona Seely became aware that the many biblical references to lamb/Lamb and shepherd/Shepherd can be confusing. She was spiritually inspired to write this book to help clarify this symbolism for young Christians.

Jesus can be referred to as the “Lamb of God” as well as “Our Shepherd.” God directs and protects Jesus, God and Jesus, our Shepherds, can guide and protect us like a shepherd takes care of his flock. Also, a father/parent protects the family like a shepherd protects his sheep.

Lambs are vulnerable and need someone to care for them, lead them to food, and protect them from harm. When they go astray, they are easily carried on their shepherd’s shoulders.

The book takes place from the time of Jesus’ birth to when He was with His twelve disciples.

It is fun to note that Jil is an acronym for “Jesus is Love” and James is an acronym for “Jesus Aways Means Easter Season.”
