Mattel and Dark Horse Comics Unleash the Power of Andra in New “Masters of the Universe: Andra” One-Shot Comic

Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAT), a leading global toy and family entertainment company and owner of one of the most iconic brand portfolios in the world, in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics, unveiled the new Masters of the Universe: Andra one-shot, an oversized comic issue highlighting Lieutenant Andra, available beginning Wednesday, July 23, 2025.  

Written by the voice of Andra from the hit animated series, Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Tiffany Smith, illustrated by Eisner Award-winning artist Adriana Melo (Birds of Prey, Fantastic Four), colored by Giuliano Peratelli (Arc Athena, The Deadly Trio: Doomsayer), and lettered by AndWorld Design (Masters of the Universe/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles of Grayskull, Canto: A Place Like Home), the issue is now available to pre-order from local comic shops for $6.99. The one-shot comic will also feature variant covers by Skylar Patridge and Nate Baertsch.  

About Masters of the Universe: Andra:  

Adapting to her new role as Man-at-Arms, Andra finds herself struggling with training new cadets. They must be ready to fight against any and all threats—magical or otherwise—but if Andra can’t believe in herself, how can she expect others to follow her lead? When a call for assistance on Orkas Island turns out to be a magical threat from the evil Count Marzo, Andra will have to delve into her past, use her technical know-how, and find her own power if she hopes to save Eternia.
