40th Anniversary of NTT Privatization: A Look Back at the History of Transformation

It has been 40 years since NTT was privatized from the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation on April 1, 1985. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of NTT’s privatization, we have released a video looking back on NTT’s journey so far.

In this video, we reflect on NTT’s history — from the era of landline phones to mobile phones, the internet, cloud computing, IoT, and AI — showing how NTT has continuously transformed itself in response to technological advancements.
